A week ago I went to a meet for bloggers based in Western Australia who are members of Blogs and PR (a service bridging the gap between blogs, brands and PR, for bloggers big and small wanting to be involved with brands to help them with their marketing campaigns). This meetup was hosted at Wembley Hotel, a quiet and intimate wine room ideal for small-ish functions.
We started with a kidsberry lucky dip from which I grabbed a Mother’s Corn Self-Training Mug Cup a perfect gift for my unborn nephew. We introduced ourselves then swapped chairs a few times so that we can sit across new ladies and get to poke questions to find out their stories plus more awesome facts about them.
I had so much fun chitty-chatting with the other bloggers not just about what we blog about and our children, but our goals and dreams for our blogs. It was fantastic to meet new bloggers and I quite loved getting to know all these great women in real life! Some of them I’ve met before and it was a great opportunity to catch up. I’m so looking forward to attending more meet ups and one-on-one coffee chats!

I drove home with goodies packed in a bursting gift bag! As you do when you attend meets where brands have been extremely friendly and provided some items for us. Kambrook gifted a Little Chef’s ice-cream maker which will now shut me up because I had just given an ice-cream maker to the in-laws for Christmas and was sulking a few weeks ago that we tend to give, give, give, yet we don’t have our own ice-cream maker… well, now I do!).
Suz E Bee Candles sent some heart-shaped tealight candles which I already used on Valentine’s Day (wink, wink). 2Kool4Skool gave some back-to-school items which include a huge zip-up pencil case that my son will be using to store his library books.

I also received a Missy and Moo voucher, a craft kit from Imogen’s Angels, Sunraysia organic drinks (my husband loved every sip of them), and a Kiddie Kutters safe-to-use knife for kids that won’t cut their fingers. I discovered Name Your Dummy, a website where you pick your baby items, drink bottles, lunch boxes etc. and they are personalised before shipped to you). Some of the items are making me a big clucky! #FFS
A big thank you to all the bloggers who attended and made this event possible. I’m grateful for the opportunity to network with you as well as with brands and PR from across Australia.
As for my readers, I look forward to bringing some more giveaway goodies this year for you to win in competitions.

I’m a blogger based in WA. I’m always keen to know about things specific to my readers and also to meet up with people. My daughter also blogs and is based in WA, too. http://www.jessiswonderland.com/
Sounds like you all had a lovely time. Thanks for sharing with us.
